MikroTik S-55DLC80D is a 1.25G SFP module for single-mode fiber connections over distances up to 80 km, designed for ISP backhaul, site-to-site interconnects, and metropolitan infrastructures where the distance between nodes exceeds the range of standard optical modules. With an industrial-grade tested temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, it operates reliably in outdoor installations, unheated technical enclosures, and environments with extreme thermal variation.

The module operates at 1550 nm wavelength on single-mode fiber, covering distances up to 80 km over a fiber pair — one strand for transmit and one for receive through the Dual LC UPC connector. The 1.25 Gbps data rate covers backhaul bandwidth requirements for ISP distribution networks and inter-building or inter-site connections over long distances. The extended industrial temperature range compared to standard commercial modules (-40°C versus -20°C) makes it suitable for installations without active thermal control.

S-55DLC80D is compatible with all MikroTik equipment featuring SFP or SFP+ ports, including CRS switches, CCR routers, and any platform with an available SFP cage. The Dual LC UPC connector interfaces with existing fiber infrastructure through standard LC connectors without additional adapters.
