MikroTik FiberBox CRS105-5S-FB – Outdoor SFP Switch for SMB / Enterprise Networks

The MikroTik FiberBox is an outdoor switch with five SFP ports, built for tower and high-mast installations where distance exceeds the limits of standard Ethernet cable and fiber optic is the only practical distribution option. The weatherproof enclosure with an included hose clamp and zip ties enables rapid mounting on poles and towers without additional accessories, while the pre-installed SFP RJ45 module in the first port provides immediate Ethernet connectivity from the moment of installation without configuration.

Five SFP ports support 1.25 Gbit modules for fiber optic or the included RJ45 module for copper in any of the ports — flexibility relevant for distribution points where some connections are over fiber and others over Ethernet. The QCA8511 CPU at 400 MHz and 128 MB RAM run the factory-activated RouterOS Level 5 license — above many switches in the lineup — with complete traffic management, VLAN, and remote management capabilities for professional optical distribution infrastructure.

The 125x178x48mm dimensions and passive cooling ensure continuous operation without maintenance in hard-to-reach elevated installations. The tested operating range of -20°C to +70°C confirms stable performance across varied climatic conditions. The included DIN mount supports alternative installation in a distribution cabinet where the location allows. DC jack power input at 9-30V covers most power scenarios available on towers and poles.
