MikroTik RB260GSP CSS106-1G-4P-1S Gigabit Switch for SOHO & SMB
MikroTik RB260GSP (CSS106-1G-4P-1S) is a Gigabit smart switch for small offices and SOHO installations, with passive PoE output on four ports and an SFP port for optical uplink or long-distance connectivity. Designed for scenarios where a single switch simultaneously powers and connects IP cameras, wireless access points, and other PoE devices without additional injectors.
Ports 2–5 deliver passive PoE at the same voltage applied to the switch — practical flexibility for installations with MikroTik equipment or other passive PoE-compatible devices. Total available current across PoE out ports is 2 A with a 1 A per-port limit, sufficient for simultaneously powering multiple access points or compact surveillance cameras. The SFP port with DDM support enables fiber link status monitoring and extends connectivity beyond copper cable distance limits.
The switch runs SwOS — MikroTik's dedicated operating system for switching equipment — with an intuitive web interface for VLAN configuration, port mirroring, traffic prioritization, and monitoring. A self-consumption of just 5 W without attached devices and passive cooling make the RB260GSP a silent, energy-efficient solution for offices and spaces without dedicated ventilation. A 24V 2.5A power adapter is included in the package.
Recommended for small offices and SOHO installations where a single device provides Gigabit switching and PoE power for IP cameras or access points, small racks where the SFP port connects the switch to existing optical infrastructure, and MikroTik installations where variable-voltage passive PoE provides direct compatibility with the rest of the network equipment. Tested operating temperature from -20°C to +70°C and an MTBF of 100,000 hours confirm reliability under continuous operation.
