MikroTik CRS309-1G-8S+IN Desktop Switch – 10G Switching for SMB & Enterprise

MikroTik CRS309-1G-8S+IN is a compact desktop switch with eight SFP+ 10 Gbps ports, designed for office networks, home labs, and infrastructures where high-speed optical switching is required in a small, fanless form factor. With a total switching capacity of 162 Gbps and non-blocking throughput of 81 Gbps, it delivers enterprise-grade switching performance without occupying rack space.

All eight SFP+ slots support modules up to 10 Gbps each — covering short and long-range optical connections as well as DAC cables for direct-attach interconnects. The dual-core 800 MHz CPU and 512 MB RAM provide stable traffic processing and smooth management under load. The Gigabit management Ethernet port with 802.3af/at PoE input allows the device to be powered and managed over a single cable connection with no separate power supply required. An RS232 serial console port enables out-of-band access, while passive cooling ensures completely silent operation — essential for office or living space deployments.

CRS309-1G-8S+IN supports dual boot between RouterOS license level 5 and SwOS, offering flexibility between a fully featured managed switch and a streamlined interface for straightforward configuration. It integrates into existing networks as a 10G aggregation switch, core switch for home lab environments, or optical distribution point in small and medium infrastructures. Rack mounting ears for optional 1U installation are included.
