MikroTik hAP ac³ — professional wireless access point for SMB and SOHO networks
MikroTik hAP ac³ is a dual-band home wireless router with five Gigabit Ethernet ports, external high-gain antennas, and PoE support, designed for large homes where uniform WiFi coverage in every room is a genuine requirement. Built-in RP-SMA female connectors for optional external antennas provide complete flexibility for extending wireless coverage beyond the standard configuration.
The included external antenna kit delivers 3 dBi gain on 2.4 GHz and 5.5 dBi on 5 GHz, covering difficult rooms uniformly without additional repeaters. Dual-band AC1200 wireless operates simultaneously on 2.4 GHz (Wi-Fi 4, 300 Mbps) and 5 GHz (Wi-Fi 5, 867 Mbps), distributing traffic to the optimal band for each device. The quad-core ARM CPU running up to 896 MHz with 256 MB RAM handles large networks with many simultaneous users. Ethernet port 5 with passive PoE-out powers an additional device, and the full-size USB port supports external storage. The 128 MB NAND provides sufficient space for RouterOS and complex configurations.
hAP ac³ mounts vertically or horizontally using the included desktop base leg or wall mount set — both positioning options covered with no additional purchases required. It accepts power via DC jack or passive PoE, and the RP-SMA female connector allows antenna replacement or upgrade to higher-gain external variants for extended coverage.
Recommended for large homes with multiple rooms where uniform WiFi coverage is the priority, households with many simultaneously connected devices, users wanting flexibility in external antenna selection, and any home networking scenario where a dual-band Gigabit router with PoE-out and RouterOS delivers more than a standard ISP-provided router. RouterOS level 4 license and free lifetime software updates are included.
