MikroTik RBGPOE-CON-HP is a 48V to 24V PoE converter for powering RouterBOARD equipment from standard 48V PoE sources, supporting Passive PoE, Telecom PoE, 802.3af and 802.3at input with up to 24W output at 24V, designed for installations where the available power source operates at 48V but the RouterBOARD device requires 8-30V input. Commonly used in outdoor and indoor installations where 48V PoE switches are already deployed and need to be used for powering MikroTik equipment that does not accept high voltage directly.
The converter accepts virtually any 42-57V PoE source available on the market — Passive PoE, Telecom PoE, 802.3af and 802.3at — and delivers 24V at up to 1A output, sufficient for powering most compact RouterBOARD devices. The rugged metal enclosure with integrated heatsink ensures thermal management during continuous operation, while wall mounting holes allow the converter to be fixed at the installation point without additional hardware. Integrated Ethernet shield pins in the RJ45 connectors support shielded Ethernet cables with grounding at the converter itself or at devices on both ends.
RBGPOE-CON-HP supports Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbps, maintaining full connection speed without network performance degradation. Compatibility with all major 48V PoE standards eliminates the need to verify compatibility with the existing switch or PoE injector, simplifying installation planning. Important note: when used with a strictly 802.3af-compliant source, output power is limited to 12.95W as defined by the standard.
