MikroTik 5V USB Adapter – Power Supply for Network Devices

MikroTik 5VUSB is a 5V USB power injector cable for RouterBOARD RB411UAHR and RB493G boards, designed for scenarios where additional USB port power is required for stable operation of the board or connected USB devices. Used in installations where the board's main power supply does not provide sufficient current to also cover the consumption of active USB devices connected simultaneously.

The cable accepts external 5V power via a 1.1mm x 3.5mm DC plug, enabling power injection directly into the USB port of compatible boards. The 5V power supply is not included and must be sourced separately — the cable serves exclusively as the connection interface between an external 5V source and the RouterBOARD's USB port. The simple cable design allows installation inside RouterBOARD enclosures without significant additional space requirements beyond existing cabling.

5VUSB is specifically compatible with RB411UAHR and RB493G, RouterBOARD units widely used in wireless configurations with miniPCI cards and active USB devices such as 3G modems or storage drives. Separate USB port powering via this injector eliminates instability caused by insufficient current on the board's USB port when multiple active components are connected simultaneously.

Recommended for RB411UAHR or RB493G installations where connected USB devices — 3G/4G modems, storage drives or other active peripherals — require stable additional 5V power, for configurations where the board's USB port does not deliver sufficient current for the connected device, and for integrators resolving USB stability issues in existing installations with these RouterBOARD models.
