MikroTik RB411AH RouterBOARD 680MHz for SMB Wireless Deployments

MikroTik RB411AH is a compact RouterBOARD with a single miniPCI slot and one Ethernet port, designed for small outdoor AP and CPE devices, as well as wireless backup links where processing power matters more than interface count. The AR7161 processor at 680 MHz sets it clearly apart from other RB411 series boards, delivering routing and firewall performance for high-traffic wireless scenarios.

The miniPCI slot supports 802.11 radio cards for sector AP, client CPE, or point-to-point link configurations — the platform covers all these roles without hardware changes, purely through RouterOS configuration. The 680 MHz processor with 64 MB RAM efficiently handles routing, filtering, and bandwidth management simultaneously with wireless traffic, without performance penalties under mixed loads. The compact footprint and compatibility with standard RB411-series outdoor enclosures simplify integration into existing projects.

RB411AH runs RouterOS L4 with support for routing, bridging, firewall, hotspot, VPN, and bandwidth management. Passive PoE input (10–28 V) or DC jack enables single-cable installation at locations without mains power, while the RS232 serial console port provides out-of-band access at remote sites without active management connectivity.

Recommended for outdoor CPE with high processing requirements, small and mid-capacity sector access points, wireless backup links where stability and processing speed are critical, and integration projects in RB411-compatible outdoor enclosures where upgrading from slower models in the series delivers concrete improvements.
