MikroTik SXTsq Lite5 5GHz Outdoor CPE for SMB Networks
SXTsq Lite5 is a compact outdoor wireless device with an integrated 16 dBi antenna on the 5GHz band, designed for point-to-point links of up to 12 kilometers and CPE connectivity in low-cost wireless distribution networks. It is widely used by ISPs and integrators for connecting end-users at long distances or as wireless backbone infrastructure in areas where cabled infrastructure is unavailable.
The integrated 16 dBi antenna provides high gain for long-range links on the 5GHz band, less congested than 2.4GHz, ensuring a stable connection with minimal interference. The 129x129mm square form factor is twice as thin as the previous SXT Lite5 model, simplifying shipping and installation without compromising wireless performance. A maximum draw of 6W with passive cooling and an IP54-rated enclosure ensure economical and reliable operation in permanent outdoor installations between -40°C and +70°C.
SXTsq Lite5 is powered via passive PoE at 10-30V, included in the kit along with the power adapter and metal mounting ring, and connects to the network through its 10/100 Ethernet port. It supports mounting on horizontal and vertical poles, and for precise long-distance alignment, the QuickMount Pro accessory is available separately. It comes pre-installed with RouterOS License L3, ready to use immediately after installation. Available in an international version and a US version with factory-locked frequencies.
Recommended for ISPs building long-range wireless links on the 5GHz band, for connecting remote locations without fiber access, and for CPE networks where high antenna gain and low cost are essential selection criteria. It is the right choice for extending network coverage in rural and semi-urban areas where long distances rule out low-gain solutions. The RouterOS license and software updates are included free of charge for the lifetime of the product.
