MikroTik RB912UAG-5HPnD RouterBOARD for SMB Wireless Deployments

RB912UAG-5HPnD is a compact RouterBOARD with integrated high-power 5GHz wireless and an additional miniPCIe slot, designed for assembling custom wireless solutions in personalized enclosures where connectivity flexibility and ESD protection are essential requirements. It is widely used by integrators building outdoor access points, CPEs, or custom wireless routers on the RouterBOARD platform with expansion via a 3G modem or additional wireless card.

The integrated dual-chain high-power 5GHz wireless delivers speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s through the 802.11a/n standard, while the Gigabit Ethernet port ensures the wired infrastructure never limits wireless performance. Built-in 16kV ESD protection on both Ethernet and MMCX ports safeguards the device against electrostatic discharge in exposed outdoor installations. The miniPCIe slot with a dedicated SIM slot allows adding a 3G/4G modem or a second 802.11 wireless card depending on project requirements.

RB912UAG-5HPnD is powered via passive PoE or 8-30V DC jack and operates between -40°C and +70°C with passive cooling, making it suitable for permanent outdoor installations in dedicated enclosures. The 128MB NAND storage ensures enhanced stability, while PCB temperature and voltage monitoring provide real-time operational visibility. The USB port with USB Power Reset and MMCX connectors for external antennas complete the capabilities of the 105x105mm platform.
