MikroTik GPEN11 Passive PoE Injector for SOHO and SMB Networks
MikroTik GPEN11 is a wall-mountable passive PoE injector designed to power uplink equipment in GPEN infrastructures — the cost-effective, easy-to-deploy Ethernet alternative to traditional GPON installations. With a DC input range of 12–57V and passive PoE output up to 2A, it powers CPE devices or switches in residential distribution networks without requiring a power outlet at the installation point.
The injector features two Gigabit Ethernet ports — one input and one PoE output — delivering both power and data over a single Ethernet cable to the powered device. The wide DC input range (12–57V) ensures compatibility with various power sources across GPEN infrastructures. Passive cooling and no moving components guarantee silent operation and minimal maintenance in permanent installations. A dedicated ISP sticker space (6.6 x 2.54 cm) on the front panel allows operators to brand the equipment when distributing devices to end users.
GPEN11 mounts on a wall near the powered equipment, connecting the DC source to the input and the Ethernet cable toward the CPE or switch at the PoE output. The tested operating range of -40°C to +70°C covers installations in unheated technical spaces, attics, and areas with extreme thermal variation typical of residential GPEN infrastructures.
Recommended for ISPs deploying GPEN infrastructures in residential buildings, installations where PoE powering of uplink equipment must be achieved without a power outlet at the mounting location, operators distributing branded equipment to end users, and any GPEN concept scenario where a compact wall-mount PoE injector is the required power delivery component.
