MikroTik LHG XL 5 ac Radio Link – SMB & Industrial Wireless Solution
MikroTik LHG XL 5 ac is a 5GHz 802.11ac wireless CPE with an integrated 27 dBi dual-polarization grid antenna, designed for long-range point-to-point links and CPE connections in rural and semi-rural areas where distance and signal strength are critical factors. It is deployed by ISPs, integrators, and wireless network operators delivering last-mile internet, backhaul links between towers or buildings, and CPE connections for clients at significant distances. The 27 dBi gain of the 550mm diameter grid antenna provides extreme signal focus for maximum performance at long ranges at an exceptionally competitive price in the segment.
LHG XL 5 ac delivers 5GHz Wi-Fi 5 802.11ac dual-chain wireless with throughput up to 867 Mbps and Nv2 TDMA protocol support for optimized point-to-point links with low latency and efficient spectrum utilization. The quad-core ARM IPQ-4018 processor at up to 896 MHz with 256 MB RAM ensures smooth routing and advanced traffic management. The Gigabit Ethernet port allows full utilization of the speeds provided by the 802.11ac protocol without bottlenecks on the wired connection. Passive PoE 10–30V power input with maximum consumption of 8W and passive cooling enable simple pole or mast installation without a separate power supply at height.
The IP54 weatherproof enclosure and operating range from -40°C to +70°C guarantee reliability in extreme climatic conditions. The included kit — 24V 0.38A adapter, metal mounting rings, Gigabit PoE injector, and K-LHG mounting kit — provides everything needed for immediate pole or mast installation. The international version supports the full 5150–5875 MHz range, while the US version is factory-locked to the 5170–5250 MHz and 5725–5835 MHz frequencies. Also available in a 4-unit pack (RBLHGG-5acD-XL4pack) for volume deployments.
Recommended for ISPs deploying last-mile internet through 5GHz point-to-point links and CPE connections for clients at long distances, integrators building wireless backhaul between towers, buildings, or distributed infrastructures, and any deployment where 27 dBi gain and competitive price per link are decisive factors. Also suited for long-range video surveillance systems and any application where 5GHz wireless performance at long distances on a limited budget is the priority.
