MikroTik cAP lite is a compact wireless access point for public locations and hospitality environments, featuring dual-chain 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n radio and PoE powering, designed for hotels, airports, shopping malls and offices where discreet wireless coverage and low cost per access point are the primary priorities. With its miniature footprint and interchangeable wall and ceiling enclosures, it blends visually into any environment without drawing attention.

The device ships with two enclosures — a flat wall-mount case and a circular ceiling case — swappable without tools for maximum installation flexibility. A 4 W draw powered entirely via PoE 802.3af/at or microUSB eliminates the need for additional power outlets at each installation point, simplifying cable management in large deployments. 3D printer-friendly design files allow custom enclosures to be produced for environments with specific aesthetic or integration requirements.

cAP lite integrates natively with MikroTik's CAPsMAN system, enabling centralized management of all access points across a network from a single interface without per-device configuration. It also operates as a fully standalone access point with complete RouterOS functionality, providing flexibility for deployments of any scale. Management is available via Winbox, SSH and web interface with full RouterOS level 4 feature access.
