MikroTik RB800 RouterBOARD Platform for Enterprise Infrastructure
MikroTik RB800 is a high-performance RouterBOARD platform for complex wireless networks, designed for deployments requiring maximum expandability — multi-sector access points, high-capacity wireless routers, and central nodes in ISP or enterprise infrastructures. With a RouterOS L6 license, the most complete in the MikroTik ecosystem, it provides access to the full range of available platform features.
The platform offers four miniPCI slots, one miniPCI-e slot, and two daughterboard connectors — an expansion architecture rarely found at this form factor. Adding RB502, RB604, or RB816 daughterboards significantly increases the number of wireless or Ethernet interfaces, turning the RB800 into a central node capable of serving complex infrastructures from a single point. The MPC8533 processor at 800 MHz with 256 MB RAM delivers the processing capacity needed for simultaneous traffic across multiple radio and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
RB800 runs RouterOS L6 with full support for advanced routing, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, hotspot, VPN, firewall, and bandwidth management. Standard 802.3af/at PoE or DC jack input (10–57 V) provides installation flexibility. The RS232 serial console port and Compact Flash slot complete the management and storage options for permanent deployments without frequent physical access.
Recommended for central wireless nodes with multiple sector radio cards, ISP infrastructures requiring hardware expandability without platform replacement, perimeter routers with advanced routing and firewall requirements, and outdoor deployments where the L6 license and modular architecture justify the investment. An MTBF of 200,000 hours and tested operating temperature from -40°C to +70°C confirm reliability under permanent operating conditions.
