MikroTik Q+85MP01D is a 40G QSFP+ optical module with an MTP/MPO connector for multimode fiber, designed for high-speed connections inside data centers and infrastructures with short distances between equipment. Four independent full-duplex channels at 10 Gbps each with 40 Gbps aggregate bandwidth provide dense and reliable connectivity between switches and servers in the same or adjacent racks.

The module supports distances up to 100 m on OM3 multimode fiber and 150 m on OM4, covering typical distances in any datacenter topology. Integrated DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring) enables real-time optical power monitoring directly from the host device. Designed for resistance to temperature, humidity, and EMI interference, it operates stably in environments up to 70°C — relevant for densely populated racks with elevated temperatures. The 1x12 MTP/MPO connector requires a Female-Female Type-B polarity MTP/MPO optical cable.

Q+85MP01D installs in any QSFP+ port on compatible MikroTik equipment, activating 40G fiber connectivity without additional configuration. The four independent channels support use as an aggregated 40G link or in 4x10G breakout configurations with the appropriate cable.

Recommended for interconnecting core switches and servers in datacenter environments on OM3/OM4 multimode fiber, infrastructures where 40G connectivity density is prioritized over transmission distance, and any scenario where an optical QSFP+ module with DDM and enhanced environmental resistance is the technical requirement for 40 Gbps links.
