MikroTik R52NM – Professional Wireless Network Adapter miniPCI for SMB and Industrial Networks

The MikroTik R52nM is a dual-band miniPCI wireless adapter for routers and network devices with a miniPCI slot, designed to add 802.11a/b/g/n capability to existing infrastructure. Commonly used to upgrade MikroTik RouterBOARD devices to Wireless N, the card enables simultaneous operation on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with MMCX connectors for external antenna attachment.

The adapter supports physical data rates up to 300 Mbps and real user throughput up to 200 Mbps on both uplink and downlink — sufficient for local network file transfers, internet access, and media streaming in business installations. The dual MMCX connectors provide greater mechanical durability than standard connectors and support directional or omnidirectional external antennas for flexible deployment.

It installs directly into the miniPCI slot of compatible RouterBOARD devices, converting an existing router or network appliance into a dual-band access point or wireless client without replacing the entire unit. Dual-band operation allows traffic separation — 2.4 GHz for broad device compatibility, 5 GHz for performance in congested environments.

It is suitable for upgrading RouterBOARD devices with an available miniPCI slot, for installations requiring external antennas for directional coverage, for networks that need simultaneous dual-band operation, and for scenarios where full hardware replacement is not economically justified.
