MikroTik RB850Gx2 is a RouterBOARD router with five Gigabit Ethernet ports and a dual-core processor, designed for advanced routing in outdoor installations, weatherproof enclosures, and network infrastructures where performance and long-term reliability are critical. With a RouterOS L5 license, it delivers a full feature set for ISPs, distribution networks, and remote site deployments.

The dual-core P1023 PPC processor at 533 MHz with 512 MB RAM positions RB850Gx2 significantly above the RB450G platform it succeeds, while retaining the same form factor and compatibility with the same outdoor enclosures. Five Gigabit Ethernet ports cover multi-WAN routing, traffic aggregation, and network segmentation scenarios, and the maximum power draw of just 8 W makes Passive PoE operation practical in locations without mains power.

RB850Gx2 runs RouterOS L5 — one of the most complete licenses in the MikroTik ecosystem — with support for advanced routing, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VPN, and centralized management via The Dude or Winbox. The microSD slot allows storage expansion for logging or backup configurations, while the RS232 serial console port enables out-of-band access in locations without management connectivity.
