MikroTik RB435G RouterBOARD for SMB & Enterprise Wireless Deployments
MikroTik RB435G is a RouterBOARD with five miniPCI slots and three Gigabit Ethernet ports, designed as the central node for multi-sector wireless networks — four sectors plus a backbone, or any other configuration required. With the highest miniPCI slot count in the RouterBOARD lineup and a RouterOS L5 license, it is the reference platform for ISPs building high-capacity access points within a single piece of equipment.
Five miniPCI slots allow simultaneous installation of multiple radio cards for full sector coverage, while the Gigabit Ethernet ports provide the uplink speeds needed to fully utilize 802.11n throughput with Nv2. The AR7161 processor at 680 MHz with 256 MB RAM handles simultaneous traffic across all radio and Ethernet interfaces without performance penalties. Two USB 2.0 ports with up to 1.5 A output support 3G modem backup connectivity or storage expansion.
RB435G runs RouterOS L5 with support for advanced routing, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, hotspot, VPN, and bandwidth management. The microSD slot, RS232 serial console port, and current, temperature, and voltage monitoring complete the management options for permanent deployments without frequent physical access. Passive PoE input (8–28 V) or DC jack simplifies installation in locations without mains power.
Recommended for multi-sector wireless access points in ISP networks, central nodes combining backbone and client sectors on a single platform, outdoor installations where miniPCI slot density eliminates the need for additional equipment, and remote sites where USB ports provide backup connectivity via 3G modem. An MTBF of 200,000 hours and tested operating temperature from -40°C to +70°C confirm reliability under permanent operating conditions in demanding environments.
