MikroTik RB433UL RouterBOARD for SMB Wireless Deployments

MikroTik RB433UL is a RouterBOARD with three miniPCI slots and three Ethernet ports, designed for outdoor installations in weatherproof enclosures — sector access points, point-to-point wireless links, and distribution nodes for internet service networks. The USB port with hardware power reset and up to 2 A output extends options with a 3G modem for backup connectivity or external storage.

Three miniPCI slots enable multi-radio configurations — a sector AP with a dedicated backbone link or multi-band deployments within the same unit. The AR7130 processor at 300 MHz with 64 MB RAM covers routing and traffic management requirements for small and mid-size networks, while the integrated switch chip optimizes port-to-port communication without additional CPU load. Passive PoE input (8–28 V) or DC jack simplifies installation in locations without mains power.

RB433UL runs RouterOS L4 with support for routing, bridging, firewall, hotspot, VPN, and bandwidth management — a complete feature set for wireless distribution and last-mile ISP connectivity scenarios. The USB Power Reset function allows remote reboot of the 3G modem without physical intervention, a significant operational advantage at remote sites that are difficult to access.

Recommended for outdoor sector access points in small ISP networks, point-to-point wireless links in areas without fiber, installations in sealed enclosures where three miniPCI slots provide configuration flexibility, and remote sites where a USB 3G modem ensures backup connectivity. Tested operating temperature from -40°C to +60°C and an MTBF of 100,000 hours confirm reliability under permanent outdoor operating conditions.
