MikroTik PW48V-12V85W Professional Power Supply for IT Infrastructure
MikroTik PW48V-12V85W is an open frame power supply with ±48V DC telecom input and 12V 7A output, designed to replace standard power supplies in MikroTik Cloud Core Routers from revision r2 onward and in the CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS and CRS326-24S+2Q+RM models. It enables direct integration of these routers into telecommunications and datacenter infrastructures running on standard -48V telecom power without additional equipment modifications.
The unit accepts an input range of 36V to 57V, covering typical variations in -48V telecom installations. The 12V 7A (85W) output matches the power requirements of compatible CCR routers and CRS switches. The open frame format allows direct replacement of one of the existing power supply units in the equipment — without special tools and without modifying the router enclosure.
PW48V-12V85W is installed by removing one of the current power supply units and inserting the new unit into the same slot, connecting the terminals to the -48V bus of the telecom infrastructure. The positive terminal must be 36–57V higher in potential than the negative terminal — for example, negative terminal at -48V and positive terminal between -12V and +9V. Compatibility is limited to the explicitly listed CCR and CRS models.
Recommended for telecom operators and integrators deploying MikroTik CCR routers in -48V DC telecom racks, data centers with standard telecom power infrastructure, and any scenario where compatible CCR/CRS equipment must operate on -48V power buses without an external voltage converter.
