MikroTik CCR1016-12G is an industrial-grade router for ISP networks and enterprise environments built entirely around Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, featuring a 16-core Tilera CPU at 1.2 GHz, twelve Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 GB RAM, designed for infrastructures where up to 12 Gbps throughput and 17.8 million packets per second fastpath processing are real operational requirements. Unlike CCR1016 variants with SFP ports, this model prioritizes pure Gigabit RJ45 connectivity, making it well suited for networks with existing copper infrastructure where optical uplinks are not required.

Twelve Gigabit Ethernet ports provide dense network device connectivity without additional modules, enabling straightforward deployment in copper-based infrastructures. The 16-core Tilera architecture distributes traffic processing uniformly across independent cores without bottlenecks under sustained maximum load regardless of protocol mix. Dual redundant power supplies and a color touchscreen LCD ensure continuous availability and direct operational visibility without requiring management interface access. CCR1016-12G runs RouterOS level 6 with full support for BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN and advanced traffic engineering policies at ISP scale. Management via Winbox, SSH and web interface combined with CPU and PCB temperature monitoring, a full-size USB port and audible alerts provides complete operational control during continuous deployment without additional management equipment.
