CLAIRÉ and CLAIRÉ Lite are MikroTik indoor air quality monitors with Matter over Thread connectivity, designed for offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, laboratories, workshops and commercial spaces where proper ventilation directly affects comfort, focus and productivity. Both models measure CO₂, volatile organic compounds (VOC), temperature and relative humidity in real time, show readings on a 2" color display with color-coded warnings, and can feed data into local automations via Home Assistant or Matter-compatible systems. The difference between the models: CLAIRÉ adds dedicated PM2.5 and PM10 particulate matter sensors for spaces with dust, 3D printing, production processes or cleaning activities. Product codes: IAQM-THC2PV-W / IAQM-THC2PV-G (CLAIRÉ) and IAQM-THC2V-W / IAQM-THC2V-G (CLAIRÉ Lite), in white or grey enclosure.
At the core of both devices is the Sensirion SCD40-D-R2 photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) CO₂ sensor, with a measurement range of 400–2000 ppm and accuracy of ±50 ppm ±5%. Ventilation is hard to judge by feel — a slightly opened window can make a room seem fresh while CO₂ levels barely drop. CLAIRÉ and CLAIRÉ Lite replace guesswork with a concrete number: ventilate the room and watch the reading fall. The VOC sensor (index 1–500) flags compounds released by paints, adhesives, solvents, cleaning products or equipment, while temperature (0…+50°C) and humidity (0–100 %RH) monitoring supports better heating and ventilation decisions. The CLAIRÉ model additionally measures PM2.5 (0–1000 µg/m³, ±10% accuracy) and PM10 (0–1000 µg/m³, ±25% accuracy).
As Matter over Thread devices, CLAIRÉ and CLAIRÉ Lite integrate with Apple HomePod, Apple TV 4K, Google Nest Hub, Nest Hub mini and Home Assistant, turning measurements into automation triggers: turning up ventilation when CO₂ rises, notifications via phone, e-mail, SMS, light or sound signals when air quality deteriorates rapidly, and turning ventilation back down when conditions return to normal — saving energy. In a local setup such as hAP be³ Media + Home Assistant, data, history and automations stay inside your own network, without sending every reading to external servers and without extra IoT hubs. WinBox 4 brings one-click Home Assistant container setup on hAP be³ Media. Bluetooth is used only for Matter provisioning (initial setup).
Both models feature a 2" color display with automatic brightness adjustment, selectable display modes, compact 76 × 76 × 24 mm dimensions and desktop or wall mounting with a bracket and security screw option — useful in public areas and open-space offices. Power is supplied via USB Type-C or a 5 V DC terminal connector for an LPS adapter (2 DC inputs), with a maximum power consumption of 1 W, allowing operation from a USB power bank or MikroTik GPOE-USB where no power outlet is nearby.
