MikroTik CLAIRÉ Lite AQM-THC2V – Professional IoT Air Quality Sensor

Tracking CO₂ levels in offices, meeting rooms and training classrooms provides an objective measure of how well ventilation is working. MikroTik CLAIRÉ Lite is a connected CO₂ and air quality sensor that measures carbon dioxide, volatile organic compounds (VOC), temperature and relative humidity. It replaces judging air by feel with concrete figures for building managers and IT teams responsible for workspace comfort.

A Sensirion photoacoustic CO₂ sensor provides stable readings, making it clear when to start or stop ventilating a room. A slightly open window can make a room feel fresher, but only a measurement shows how much CO₂ actually remains. The VOC sensor flags volatile compounds released by paint, adhesives, solvents, cleaning products or cooking. Temperature and humidity data support better heating and ventilation decisions, while the 2-inch color display shows air status with color-coded warnings.

Matter over Thread allows measured values to serve as inputs for automations in compatible systems. When CO₂ crosses a threshold, ventilation can be stepped up, and a rapid decline in air quality can trigger alerts by e-mail, SMS or light signals. Paired with Home Assistant, running as a container on MikroTik hAP be³ Media and set up through WinBox 4, data, history and rules stay within your own network. Supported Matter controllers include Apple TV 4K and Google Nest Hub, and Bluetooth is used only for initial provisioning.

CLAIRÉ Lite serves organizations that need CO₂ and climate monitoring without particulate measurement, across offices, conference rooms, classrooms and coworking spaces. Where dust and PM2.5 or PM10 particles matter, the full MikroTik CLAIRÉ adds dedicated particle sensors. Drawing less than 1 W, the sensor runs from USB Type-C, a power bank or MikroTik GPOE-USB for quick checks in any room. For permanent installations, a 5 V DC terminal connector accepts an LPS adapter. A wall bracket with a security screw option and the 76 × 76 × 24 mm enclosure allow neat, secure mounting in shared areas.
