MikroTik CRS318-16P-2S+OUT — outdoor PoE switch for SMB and enterprise infrastructures

MikroTik netPower 16P is an outdoor switch with 16 Gigabit PoE-out ports and two 10G SFP+ ports, designed to power and connect wireless access points, IP cameras, and equipment installed on towers, masts, and poles where individual power supplies for each device are impractical. With an IP54-rated enclosure and hose clamp mounting support, it brings enterprise switch capability to any outdoor location without dedicated power infrastructure at height.

All 16 Gigabit ports support 802.3af/at PoE-out, delivering 24V or 48V depending on the connected power supply — the switch has no onboard voltage converter, so PoE-out voltage matches the input supply voltage. Non-blocking throughput of 36 Gbps and switching capacity of 72 Gbps eliminate any internal bottleneck. Two 10G SFP+ ports provide fast fiber uplinks to the aggregation node. Passive cooling and the tested operating range of -40°C to +70°C ensure continuous operation in any climate for permanent outdoor deployments.

netPower 16P supports dual boot between RouterOS v7 license level 5 and SwOS, offering flexibility between advanced management and streamlined configuration. The IP54 enclosure with hose clamp mounting support enables installation on towers, masts, poles, damp attics, and technical shafts. The power supply is not included — the switch is compatible with MikroTik power supplies 24HPOW, MTP250-53V47-OD, MTP250-26V94-OD, 48POW, and 48V2A96W.

Recommended for towers and masts with multiple WiFi access points and IP cameras, outdoor ISP networks with equipment distributed at height, outdoor video surveillance infrastructure, and any scenario where an outdoor PoE switch with 10G fiber uplink is needed without individual power supplies for each device. The power supply must be purchased separately.
