The MikroTik CubeSA 60Pro ac is a 60 GHz 802.11ay sector antenna designed for high-speed point-to-multipoint connections in scenarios where multiple client devices must connect simultaneously to a single central node without cable infrastructure. It is widely used at temporary events — concerts, festivals, exhibitions, construction sites, mobile clinics — and in distributed network deployments where rapid installation without cabling is the primary priority. Coverage distances of up to 600 m in point-to-multipoint mode and up to 800 m in combination with devices such as the nRAY make it suitable for large outdoor spaces with temporary or permanent connectivity requirements.

The device operates in the 60 GHz band using the 802.11ay standard, delivering fiber-comparable speeds on the uncongested 60 GHz spectrum. The hardware platform includes a quad-core ARM IPQ-4019 running at up to 896 MHz with 256 MB RAM and 64 MB FLASH storage, managed via RouterOS (License Level 4). The 5 GHz Wi-Fi 5 (802.11a/n/ac) backup radio with an 11.5 dBi directional antenna activates automatically as a failover when the 60 GHz link is affected by adverse weather conditions — maintaining client connectivity without manual intervention. The integrated GPS enables time synchronization and geolocation in distributed deployments.

The CubeSA 60Pro ac is powered via 802.3af/at PoE (18-48V) through the Gigabit Ethernet port and mounts quickly on poles or temporary structures via the robust metal base. The IP66 enclosure with metal base provides protection against powerful water jets and increased durability compared to previous generations, making it suitable for both permanent installations and rapid field deployments. The compact form factor and single-cable PoE installation eliminate the need for a generator or separate power cabling at the mounting location.
