The MikroTik MTCINE — Certified Inter-Networking Engineer is a two-day advanced certification course for network engineers designing and managing large-scale infrastructures — ISP-level networks, metropolitan area networks and geographically distributed enterprise environments. The MTCINE course covers BGP and MPLS protocols in RouterOS, developing the skills required to build and operate complex networks based on dynamic routing, VPLS and Traffic Engineering.
Course agenda covers the following modules:
Module 1 — BGP: you will master Autonomous System and Border Gateway Protocol concepts, configure iBGP and eBGP sessions, apply route filtering and BGP prefix attributes, and implement route reflectors and confederations — core competencies for any ISP or large-scale enterprise network.
Module 2 — MPLS: you will build MPLS networks with LDP, implement LDP and BGP-based VPLS tunnels, configure VRF with route leaking and L3VPN, and address critical aspects of L2MTU and MPLS fragmentation — solutions used in ISP backbone and metropolitan network deployments.
Module 3 — Traffic Engineering: you will implement MPLS Traffic Engineering using RSVP, static and dynamic paths (CSPF), and configure bandwidth allocation and limitation — granular traffic control for networks with strict QoS and SLA requirements.
Entry requirements: MTCINE is an advanced MikroTik course with a mandatory dual prerequisite — valid MTCNA and MTCRE certifications. Duration: 2 days, intensive format with hands-on lab sessions included in every module.
Upon completion, participants receive the official MikroTik MTCINE certification and the practical ability to design, deploy and optimize organization-wide networks based on BGP, MPLS and VPLS. Ideal for senior network engineers, ISP infrastructure architects and specialists managing distributed networks with complex routing and redundancy requirements.
Important: Enrollment requires valid MTCNA and MTCRE certifications.
