MikroTik Certified Enterprise Wireless Engineer (MTCEWE) is the advanced certification course for engineers designing and managing complex wireless networks on MikroTik equipment. It targets specialists who have moved beyond the fundamentals and want a deep understanding of enterprise wireless behaviour — from radio planning and link budget calculation to seamless roaming and advanced troubleshooting.
The course agenda covers the following modules:
Module 1 — Radio module hardware options: you will understand which technical parameters of radio modules matter when selecting equipment and how they affect real-world wireless link performance.
Module 2 — Radio link budget calculation: you will be able to calculate the link budget based on antenna type, transmitter power, and terrain conditions — regardless of the equipment chosen.
Module 3 — Transmitter power and signal quality: you will understand why increasing transmitter power does not always improve communication quality and what alternative measures are effective.
Module 4 — Roaming and WDS: you will build networks with seamless roaming and understand the differences from WDS architectures — when to use each approach and why.
Module 5 — Modulation and wireless rates: you will understand what modulation is, how it affects throughput and link stability, and how to select optimal parameters for each deployment scenario.
Module 6 — Wireless network troubleshooting: you will know where to look and what to do when a wireless link is not performing correctly — diagnostics, monitoring tools, and a structured troubleshooting methodology.
Prerequisite: Enrollment is only possible if you hold a valid MTCNA certification!
