MikroTik CRS320-8P-8B-4S+RM Switch – Enterprise Networking Solution

MikroTik CRS320-8P-8B-4S+RM is MikroTik's first switch with full PoE++ 802.3bt support, designed for powering high-draw devices in hotels, conference halls, offices, and high-rise buildings where managing separate power cables is a real operational challenge. It is deployed by integrators and network administrators powering 4K security cameras with built-in heating elements, LED advertising screens, PoE light fixtures, and any equipment requiring up to 90W per port — power impossible to deliver with previous PoE standards. A single CRS320 can replace dozens of individual DC adapters, radically simplifying cable management in any professional installation.

The switch features 17 Gigabit Ethernet ports configured in three functional groups: Ether1–8 with PoE-out 802.3af/at for standard equipment, Ether9–16 with PoE++ 802.3bt for high-power devices up to 90W per port, and a dedicated Gigabit management port with a direct CPU line. Four 10G SFP+ ports provide high-speed uplinks to core equipment. The Marvell 98DX226S switch chip handles VLAN filtering and hardware-offloaded L3 routing, while the dual-core ARM processor at 800 MHz with 256 MB RAM ensures stable performance under full load. The total PoE power budget is 963W across all ports with the included 600W PSU — the PSU expansion slot allows adding a second G1483-0600WNB to raise the total power to 1150W.

The switch supports dual-boot RouterOS v7 and SwitchOS (License Level 5) for maximum flexibility — advanced RouterOS functionality or simplified SwitchOS management depending on deployment requirements. The included hot-swap PSU, CRS rackmount ears, cable management brackets, and K-57 kit enable immediate rack installation without additional accessories. Three fans maintain optimal temperature under sustained loads, and the operating range from -10°C to +50°C covers the conditions of technical rooms and enterprise racks.
