Teltonika RUT906 — Industrial 4G (LTE) WiFi Router for IoT and Professional Networking

The Teltonika RUT906 is an industrial 4G LTE cellular router designed for IoT applications requiring serial connectivity. The device integrates RS232 and RS485 interfaces, a GNSS module, digital and analog I/Os, Dual SIM with automatic failover, and a 4G LTE Cat 4 modem (up to 150 Mbps downlink / 50 Mbps uplink) — delivering a complete connectivity solution for SCADA systems, industrial automation, and smart metering applications.

Running RutOS (OpenWrt-based), the RUT906 supports an extensive set of industrial protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, BACnet RS485/TCP, OPC UA, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, Serial over IP, and MQTT Gateway. Multi-protocol VPN (OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, ZeroTier, L2TP, PPTP, GRE, DMVPN, SSTP, Tinc) and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP) provide enterprise-grade secure connectivity. Native integration with Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, ThingWorx, and Cumulocity simplifies deployment in cloud IoT architectures.

The GNSS module (GPS, with GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo under development) provides geofencing, TAVL tracking, time synchronization, and NTRIP protocol support. Extended I/Os include galvanically isolated digital inputs, a 0–24 V analog input with 4–20 mA capability, and an SPST relay output. The aluminium housing with IP30 protection, -40°C to +75°C operating range, and 9–30 VDC wide-range input with reverse polarity protection ensure reliable operation in harsh industrial environments.
