MikroTik wAP LTE Outdoor Access Point for SOHO & SMB Networks

wAP LTE kit is a weatherproof 2.4GHz wireless access point with a built-in LTE modem, designed for mobile 4G connectivity in vehicles and outdoor locations where cellular internet access and WiFi distribution are needed in a single compact device. It is widely used in buses, trains, cars, and remote installations where the automotive power connector and IP54-rated enclosure ensure continuous operation in demanding conditions.

The integrated LTE Cat4 modem delivers download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps with support for 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, providing mobile connectivity across international bands widely used in Europe and Asia. Internal LTE antennas with u.FL connectors can be replaced with external antennas for extended coverage in areas with weak signal. Dual-chain 2.4GHz WiFi at up to 300 Mbit/s distributes the LTE connection wirelessly to passengers or equipment, while the 10/100 Ethernet port connects wired devices.

wAP LTE kit accepts three power inputs — passive PoE, 9-30V DC jack, and 9-30V automotive connector — directly compatible with vehicle electrical systems without additional adapters. The kit includes a 0.35m automotive cable, desktop stand, ceiling mount bracket, K-52 fastening set, and K-50 locking kit. E-MARK certification confirms compliance for vehicle use in European markets, while the operating range up to 50°C ensures thermal stability in enclosed installations.

Recommended for vehicle fleets requiring mobile 4G internet and passenger WiFi distribution, for urban and intercity public transport, and for remote locations without fiber access where LTE is the only viable connectivity option. Also suitable for temporary or mobile installations where a single device must provide both LTE access and a local WiFi network. This product is discontinued.
