MikroTik wAP BE Outdoor Access Point for SOHO & SMB Networks

wAP BE is a compact weatherproof wireless access point for ceiling, wall, or pole mounting, designed for extending WiFi coverage in outdoor and semi-outdoor spaces where discreet installation and durability are essential. It is commonly used to provide wireless access in gardens, terraces, building entrances, and any exterior location where phone or laptop connectivity must be ensured without visible equipment.

The device delivers dual-chain 2.4GHz WiFi connectivity at up to 300 Mbit/s with a maximum draw of just 4W, making it suitable for permanent PoE-powered installations without significant operational costs. The compact 185x85x30mm enclosure allows discreet mounting on any exterior surface, while a dedicated opening on the back of the case enables routing the Ethernet cable directly through the wall — eliminating visible cabling and blending the unit into any environment. Available in the black BE version for aesthetic integration into dark-colored facades.

wAP BE accepts power via 802.3af/at PoE or 11-57V DC jack and includes a PoE injector, ceiling mount bracket, K35 screw kit, and dedicated mounting bracket. The bottom door can be secured with a special screw to restrict unauthorized physical access. It runs RouterOS License L4, enabling advanced wireless network configuration and centralized management across distributed infrastructures.

Recommended for extending outdoor WiFi coverage at homes, restaurants, terraces, and commercial spaces where a discreet, weatherproof access point is required.
