MikroTik SXT SA5 RBSXTG-5HPnD-SAr2 5GHz Sector Access Point for SMB & Enterprise

SXT SA5 is a 5GHz outdoor sector antenna with a 90° beamwidth and Gigabit port, designed for wireless distribution to multiple simultaneous clients in ISP access networks and sector access point infrastructures. It is widely deployed as a primary access point in wireless distribution networks where wide-area 5GHz coverage and low cost per sector are key decision factors.

The integrated 14 dBi antenna with a 90° sector beamwidth covers an extended area from a single mounting point, reducing the number of devices required compared to narrow-beam solutions. The enclosure features special internal shielding to improve operation in high-interference environments and optimize the antenna's front-to-back ratio. The Gigabit Ethernet port eliminates any wired network bottleneck, while 128MB NAND storage provides enhanced stability over FLASH-based solutions.

SXT SA5 accepts power via passive PoE in the 6-30V range and includes a Gigabit PoE injector, power adapter, metal ring, and pole mounting bracket — everything needed for rapid deployment in minutes. The USB port with USB Power Reset provides additional flexibility for storage or remote administration. It runs RouterOS License L4 with support for MikroTik's proprietary Nstreme and Nv2 protocols for optimized performance in distributed networks.

Recommended for ISPs building low-cost 5GHz sector wireless access networks, for covering residential or industrial areas from a minimum number of mounting points, and for replacing existing sector access points with a more affordable solution. Available in an international version and a US version with factory-locked frequencies. This product is discontinued.
