SXT SA5 ac is a 5GHz outdoor sector antenna with a 90° beamwidth and 802.11ac support, designed for high-speed wireless distribution to multiple simultaneous clients in ISP access networks and sector access point infrastructures. It is widely deployed as a primary access point in wireless distribution networks where wide-area coverage and high throughput on the 5GHz band are essential infrastructure requirements.

The device delivers wireless speeds of up to 867 Mbit/s with 256-QAM modulation and 80MHz channels, providing WiFi 5 performance superior to 802.11n solutions in the same frequency band. The 14 dBi sector antenna with a 90° beamwidth covers a wide area from a single mounting point, reducing the number of devices required for complete coverage. The Gigabit Ethernet port and 128MB NAND storage deliver the performance and stability needed for heavy traffic in permanent installations backed by an MTBF of 200,000 hours.

SXT SA5 ac accepts power via 802.3af/at PoE in the 12-57V range and includes a Gigabit PoE injector, power adapter, metal ring, and pole mounting bracket. The USB port with USB Power Reset provides additional flexibility for storage or remote administration. It is compatible with legacy RouterBOARD 802.11a/n equipment and supports MikroTik's proprietary Nstreme and Nv2 protocols, enabling gradual infrastructure migration without replacing existing client devices.
