The super high-power 802.11b/g/n transmitter on the AR9283 chipset delivers long-range coverage on 2.4 GHz with superior penetration through obstacles compared to the 5 GHz band — a direct advantage in rural, semi-urban, or heavily vegetated environments between nodes. Built-in LED signal indicators simplify on-site installation and antenna alignment without additional diagnostic tools. The factory-activated RouterOS Level 4 license supports configuration as an AP, CPE, or point-to-point link from the same hardware platform.

The fully sealed industrial metal enclosure eliminates water ingress points common in enclosures with removable covers — protection relevant for installations directly exposed to long-term precipitation.
