MikroTik RBFTC11 – Fiber to Ethernet Media Converter for SMB / Industrial Networks

The MikroTik RBFTC11 is a Fiber to Copper converter for outdoor installations, designed to extend Gigabit connectivity via fiber optic cable to equipment with an Ethernet port in locations where copper cable cannot reach directly. The waterproof enclosure with a locking screw and an internally secured mounting bracket enable reliable outdoor installation on poles, walls, or distribution cabinets without risk of accidental removal or water ingress.

The converter supports 802.3af/at PoE at 12-57V input — receiving power and passing it through via unshielded crossover Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a separate power source at the installation point. It operates exclusively with Gigabit SFP connections, ensuring lossless speed conversion between fiber optic and the destination device's Ethernet port. The 3W idle power draw and passive cooling maintain long-term reliability without moving parts.
