MikroTik hAP – Wi-Fi Router for SOHO Networks

The MikroTik hAP is a 2.4 GHz wireless access point for home and small office use, pre-configured out of the box — plug in the internet cable and power, and the MikroTik wireless network is immediately available without any additional setup. The USB type A port with power reset supports a 3G/4G modem for backup internet connectivity or external storage managed through RouterOS. The dual-chain 802.11b/g/n transmitter delivers data rates up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, while the QCA9531 CPU at 650 MHz and 64 MB RAM run complete RouterOS Level 4 with firewall, routing, bandwidth shaping, and VPN for users who want more than the default configuration.

The default MikroTik configuration includes one WAN port and four LAN ports with active DHCP — the device is operational immediately after connection without accessing the RouterOS interface. Dual power input via DC jack at 10-28V or passive PoE and just 5W power consumption make the hAP one of the most energy-efficient wireless RouterOS solutions in the lineup. The 113x89x28mm dimensions allow discreet installation on any desk or shelf.
