MikroTik RB911G-5HPacD RouterBOARD 5GHz 802.11ac for SMB Deployments

MikroTik RB911G-5HPacD is a compact RouterBOARD with an integrated 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) radio on the 5 GHz band, designed for outdoor wireless deployments — CPE devices, point-to-point links, and sector access points. The MMCX connector enables pairing with external directional or sector antennas, making it the right platform for integrators and ISPs building custom wireless equipment at low cost.

Compared to the previous generation, RB911G-5HPacD brings 802.11ac support with throughput up to 867 Mbit/s on a dual-chain 5 GHz radio — a meaningful upgrade for CPE and backhaul scenarios where bandwidth matters. The QCA9557 processor at 720 MHz with 128 MB RAM delivers stable routing and traffic management in outdoor conditions, with a maximum power draw of just 12 W. Built-in ESD protection on both the Ethernet and MMCX ports shields the board against electrical surges in exposed environments.

RB911G-5HPacD runs RouterOS L3, providing a complete feature set including routing, bridging, firewall, and bandwidth management. Passive PoE input (8–30 V) or DC jack simplifies installation in remote locations with a single cable. The board integrates with dedicated outdoor enclosures and MMCX-compatible antennas for sector AP, client CPE, or high-capacity wireless backhaul configurations.

Recommended for wireless internet distribution networks in rural and suburban areas, CPE deployments with higher throughput requirements, sector access points for local ISPs, and outdoor projects where moving to 802.11ac delivers a real advantage over 802.11n solutions. Tested operating temperature from -40°C to +70°C ensures continuous operation in extreme weather conditions.
