MikroTik 911 Lite5 is an entry-level RouterBOARD for building minimum-cost CPE devices on the 5 GHz band, featuring an integrated single-chain 802.11a/n radio, 600 MHz CPU and one Ethernet port, designed for ISPs and integrators building CPE devices at the lowest possible cost per unit. Compared to the dual variant, this model uses a single radio chain to keep the price below $40, suited for scenarios where maximum throughput per link matters less than the total deployment cost.

The integrated single-chain 5 GHz 802.11a/n radio provides wireless connectivity at up to 150 Mbps, sufficient for basic CPE scenarios where subscriber internet connections do not exceed this capacity. Passive PoE powering with an 8-30 V input range and a 5 W draw — the lowest in the 911 series — keep operational costs at minimum in large-scale deployments with hundreds of units. The compact 105x105 mm footprint enables integration into small outdoor enclosures without excess space requirements.

911 Lite5 runs RouterOS level 3, providing basic routing, bridging and wireless management functionality sufficient for simple CPE scenarios. The absence of a second radio chain compared to the dual variant reduces per-unit cost and power consumption, making it the right choice for deployments where CPE budget is the determining factor and where 150 Mbps per link covers actual subscriber needs.
