MikroTik 911 Lite5 ac is a compact RouterBOARD for building low-cost CPE and backhaul devices on the 5 GHz band with 802.11ac support, featuring an integrated dual-chain 802.11a/n/ac radio, 650 MHz CPU and one Ethernet port, designed for ISPs and integrators requiring WiFi 5 performance in custom CPE hardware at minimum cost per unit. It is the direct upgrade over the 911 Lite5 dual, adding 802.11ac support and speeds of up to 867 Mbps compared to 300 Mbps on the previous model.
The integrated dual-chain 5 GHz 802.11a/n/ac radio delivers wireless connectivity at up to 867 Mbps, suitable for both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint CPE links and wireless backhaul segments in ISP distribution networks where higher capacity than 802.11n is required. Passive PoE powering with a 10-30 V input range and a 7 W draw maintain simple outdoor installation and low operational cost in large-scale unit deployments. The 113x89 mm footprint enables integration into compact dedicated outdoor enclosures.
911 Lite5 ac runs RouterOS level 3, providing basic routing, bridging and wireless management functionality sufficient for standard CPE and backhaul scenarios. The QCA9531 CPU at 650 MHz delivers improved processing performance over the previous model for handling 802.11ac traffic at higher data rates. Exclusive Passive PoE powering simplifies cabling in installations where the power source is remote via the network cable.
Recommended for ISPs building low-cost 802.11ac CPE devices for 5 GHz wireless distribution, for integrators assembling custom wireless backhaul units based on the RB911 platform in dedicated outdoor enclosures, for networks where upgrading from 802.11n to 802.11ac is needed without significant increase in cost per CPE unit, and for deployments where Passive PoE powering and low power consumption are operational requirements.
