MikroTik RB450G RouterBOARD with 5x Gigabit for SMB Networks

MikroTik RB450G is a RouterBOARD router with five Gigabit Ethernet ports, designed for advanced routing in outdoor installations, weatherproof enclosures, and remote locations where low power consumption and reliability are the priority. With a RouterOS L5 license and a solid hardware platform, it delivers a compact solution for routing nodes in small and mid-size ISP networks.

Compared to the RB450, the G platform adds Gigabit connectivity across all five ports, 256 MB RAM, and a faster AR7161 processor at 680 MHz — resources that make a difference in scenarios with high simultaneous traffic and extended routing tables. The maximum power draw of 6 W enables Passive PoE operation (8–28 V) over a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation in locations without mains power. The microSD slot extends storage options for logging and backup configurations.

RB450G runs RouterOS L5 with support for advanced routing, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VPN, hotspot, and bandwidth management. The RS232 serial console port enables out-of-band access in locations without active management connectivity, while temperature and voltage monitoring provide hardware status visibility in permanent deployments without frequent physical access.
