MikroTik RB2011iL-RM Rackmount Router for SMB Networks
MikroTik RB2011iL-RM is a 1U rackmount router with ten Ethernet ports — five Fast Ethernet and five Gigabit — designed for network racks in small offices and ISP points of presence where a compact, cost-effective wired routing solution is needed. With RouterOS L4 and a standard 1U enclosure, it is the entry-level variant in the RB2011 series for infrastructures without wireless or LCD requirements.
Five Gigabit ports serve uplinks and critical infrastructure equipment, while five Fast Ethernet ports cover workstations and secondary devices — all managed by the AR8327 switch chip at wire speed without performance penalties. Passive PoE out on port 10 with a maximum of 500 mA powers an adjacent device directly from the router without an additional injector. The AR9344 processor at 600 MHz with 64 MB RAM delivers stable routing and firewall performance for small and mid-size networks.
RB2011iL-RM runs RouterOS L4 with support for routing, bridging, firewall, hotspot, VPN, and bandwidth management. Compared to higher variants in the series, the iL-RM delivers essential RouterOS functionality at lower cost — without a touchscreen LCD, USB port, or SFP — the right choice when these components are not required in the existing infrastructure. Rack ears and a mounting set are included for immediate installation in a standard 19" rack.
Recommended for office racks and network closets requiring wired routing without advanced local management features, ISP points of presence with limited budgets where RouterOS L4 fully covers routing and firewall requirements, and consumer router upgrade scenarios where moving to the RouterOS platform delivers complete traffic control. An MTBF of 200,000 hours and tested operating temperature from -40°C to +60°C confirm reliability under permanent operating conditions.
