MikroTik R11e-5HacT is a 5 GHz triple-chain 802.11ac miniPCI-e wireless card designed for RouterBOARD devices with a miniPCI-e slot that require Wi-Fi 5 wireless connectivity with high throughput. With a maximum data rate of 1300 Mbps, 256-QAM modulation, and 80 MHz channels, it brings 802.11ac capability to platforms such as the RB953, RB912, RB800, or BaseBox, turning them into next-generation access points or point-to-point devices.

The MIMO 3×3 triple-chain configuration and QCA9880 chipset deliver superior performance compared to dual-chain cards — more stable signal and higher throughput in installations with obstructions or over longer distances. Three MMCX connectors allow the use of three separate antennas for optimal coverage in sector or point-to-point configurations. A maximum power draw of 5W and a tested operating range of -40°C to +70°C confirm suitability for permanent outdoor installations in any climatic conditions.

A distinctive practical feature is the set of built-in LED indicators on the card itself, showing the active wireless mode, connection status (connected, searching, disabled), TX/RX activity, and wireless signal strength — all visible directly on the card, making installation and antenna alignment straightforward without accessing the RouterOS interface.
