LoRaWAN IoT Sensor MikroTik TG-LR92

LoRaWAN IoT Sensor MikroTik TG-LR92

TG-LR92 is MikroTik's configurable LoRaWAN IoT sensor for the 902–928 MHz band, designed for system integrators and network administrators who require distributed temperature, humidity, and motion telemetry in industrial and logistics deployments with extended operational lifespans. Engineered for distributed sensor networks where long-range transmission, extended autonomy, and automatic adaptation to changing conditions are critical operational requirements, TG-LR92 combines multiple sensors, intelligent event-based rules, and flexible reporting profiles in a single compact device. It integrates a NIST-traceable TMP116N temperature sensor (±0.2°C typical accuracy, ±0.3°C max for -25°C to +85°C), humidity sensor (0–100% RH), accelerometer with motion, tilt, and free-fall detection, magnetic reed contact for doors and lids, and LoRa LR1120 transceiver. Certified LoRaWAN 1.0.4 Class A, B. For the 863–870 MHz spectrum, refer to the TG-LR82.

Equipped with LoRa 915 MHz (US915 region) and 2.4 GHz bands, TG-LR92 provides maximum deployment flexibility. The 2.4 GHz LoRa band enables global use without regional frequency restrictions — ideal for mobile assets and international logistics, with a typical coverage range of approximately 1.5 km depending on gateway and environment. RF transmit power: 10.5 dBm at 915 MHz and 13 dBm at 2.4 GHz. Onboard data processing enables generation of averages, histograms, and threshold-based alerts before transmission — reducing network traffic without losing meaningful environmental data. The integrated magnetic reed contact detects door or lid opening and automatically switches the reporting profile: from telemetry every 6 hours under normal operation to updates every 5 minutes upon event detection.

Built around the LoRa LR1120 transceiver, NIST TMP116N temperature sensor, 0–100% RH humidity sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, non-replaceable 1100 mAh LiMnO₂ battery, operating range -10°C to +70°C, dimensions 76 × 45 × 19 mm, and IP67-rated enclosure. Configuration is performed via LoRaWAN downlinks, compatible with The Things Network (TTN) and other standard platforms. Native integration with MikroTik LR9 gateways — KNOT LR9G, wAP LR9G, wAP LR2 — and with visualization platforms such as Grafana via RouterOS container support. Supports ADR (Adaptive Data Rate) for automatic optimization of power consumption and link quality. Included in the package: screw set and optional mounting bracket for metal surfaces (77 × 46 × 6.5 mm).

Recommended for: cold chain and warehouse monitoring of temperature-sensitive goods, real-time asset tracking and logistics in US915 regions, industrial facilities and automation enclosures, environmental and utility infrastructure monitoring, precision agriculture and environmental research, intrusion detection via door and window sensors, and any IoT deployment where approximately 5-year battery autonomy, US915/2.4 GHz spectrum compliance, and reliability in harsh conditions are essential project requirements.
