MikroTik L23UGSR-5HaxD2HaxD is a modular dual-band WiFi 6 RouterBOARD designed for building custom outdoor access points, CPEs, or proprietary products at low cost. It is used by integrators, IoT product developers, and enthusiasts building custom solutions — omnidirectional access points, long-range point-to-point links, smart vending machines, ticket stations, or any custom network device — with no subscriptions, no complex licensing, and no royalty agreements. It represents the WiFi 6 upgrade of the popular RB922 board, bringing modern wireless to the established MikroTik DIY platform.

The board integrates dual-band WiFi 6 dual-chain with 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2400 Mbps on 5 GHz, complemented by 4 MMCX connectors for external antennas — a combination that enables building any desired wireless configuration. Adding an HGO-antenna-OUT transforms the L23UGSR into an excellent omnidirectional access point, while the mANT30 PA antenna creates a powerful long-range point-to-point link for distances up to 30 km. The Gigabit Ethernet port with passive PoE-in, 2.5G SFP port for fiber connectivity, USB type A port, free miniPCIe slot, and Nano SIM slot provide a complete expansion platform — add an LTE modem for internet backup or an R11e-LR8 module for a LoRa IoT gateway. The dual-core ARM IPQ-5010 processor at 800 MHz with 256 MB RAM and 128 MB NAND runs RouterOS v7 (License Level 4) with full functionality at no recurring cost.

Maximum consumption of 12W without accessories and passive cooling ensure efficient and silent operation, suitable for outdoor installations in custom enclosures or embedded in final products. The operating range from -40°C to +70°C covers extreme climatic conditions for permanent outdoor deployments. The integrated beeper provides configurable alarms or creative outputs for specialized applications. IP00 means the board has no built-in protection — installation in an appropriate enclosure is the builder's responsibility.
