MikroTik Q+DA0001 is a 40G DAC cable with integrated QSFP+ modules, designed for direct interconnection of switches and network equipment with QSFP+ ports. It is the straightforward, cost-effective solution for high-speed connections between devices in the same rack or adjacent racks, eliminating the need for separate transceivers or fiber cabling.
The cable delivers 40 Gbps data transfer through a passive direct-attach connection, with QSFP+ modules integrated at both ends — true plug-and-play with no additional configuration required. The 1-meter length and flexible construction allow equipment in neighboring rack units to be connected without mechanical stress on the ports. The tested operating range of 0°C to +70°C covers standard conditions in any server room or communications enclosure.
Q+DA0001 connects directly into QSFP+ ports on MikroTik CRS series switches, including the CRS326-24S+2Q+RM, providing a 40G interconnect without the latency or added cost of active optical modules. Compared to SFP+ transceiver and fiber solutions, the DAC cable removes intermediate components and reduces installation complexity in short-distance deployments.
Recommended for core switch interconnects within the same or adjacent racks, 40G uplinks between aggregation devices, small and medium datacenter infrastructure, and any scenario where equipment spacing does not exceed 1 meter and a reliable 40G connection is required without additional components.
