MikroTik GPOE-USB – PoE to USB-C and 5V DC Adapter for SMB and IoT Networks

The MikroTik GPOE-USB is a PoE-to-USB converter that powers USB-C and 5V DC devices directly from a PoE switch, with no power outlet required at the installation point. It is commonly used where power access is limited or unavailable: wall-mounted tablets, IoT sensors, controllers, air quality monitors, and MikroTik devices with USB-C input but without built-in PoE support. A single Ethernet cable carries both data and power, resulting in cleaner installations with fewer adapters.

The GPOE-USB converts standard 802.3af/at PoE input into stable 5V output at up to 15W and 3A — well above typical mass-market PoE-to-USB adapters. It features one USB-C output port and a 2-pin DC terminal for compatibility with 5V DC devices that do not use USB-C connectors. Full 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet passthrough is maintained without any speed penalty. The compact enclosure (76 x 40 x 24 mm) operates across -40°C to +70°C, making it suitable for outdoor and industrial environments.

The device connects directly to any existing 802.3af/at PoE switch without additional configuration. It is compatible with MikroTik hAP ax lite, hAP be lite, Raspberry Pi boards, tablets, smartphones, and other USB-C powered devices. The DC terminal enables custom wiring for IoT projects and industrial automation scenarios where a USB-C connector is not practical.
