MikroTik mUPS PoE Injector with Battery Backup for SOHO & SMB Networks

MikroTik mUPS is a Gigabit PoE injector with battery backup capability, designed for outdoor and remote installations where power outages would otherwise cause network equipment to reboot. It operates transparently as a standard PoE injector, but when the main power source is lost it switches automatically to an external 12V battery — with no reboot and no connection interruption.

Compatible with input voltages between 12V and 28V, the mUPS delivers a seamless transition even when the primary supply is 24V or 28V — the connected device does not detect the switchover. Status LEDs provide real-time indication of the active power source (mains or battery), the charging state, and low battery level, giving full visibility into the installation's status without physical access to the equipment. A tested operating range of -40°C to +70°C confirms reliable performance in demanding outdoor conditions.

The package includes the Gigabit PoE injector, a 24V 1.5A power adapter, a battery DC wire with T2 tab terminal, a mount bracket, and a wAP ceiling mount bracket — everything needed for a complete installation. The external 12V battery is not included and should be selected separately based on the required backup duration.

Recommended for outdoor installations with MikroTik access points or routers in locations without a network UPS, for mast or rooftop-mounted access points where an equipment reboot means losing active wireless links, and for any remote scenario where connection continuity during a power outage is an operational requirement.
