MikroTik XQ+31LC10D Module – SFP+ / SFP28 for SMB & Enterprise Networks

The MikroTik XQ+31LC10D is a 100 Gigabit QSFP28 optical module for single-mode connections over distances of up to 10 km, designed for high-speed backbone links between buildings, campuses, and distributed network nodes where distance exceeds the range of short-reach modules. It is widely used in ISP infrastructures, metropolitan networks, enterprise campuses, and distributed datacenter environments where 100G connections over single-mode fiber between remote locations are the standard requirement. Compatibility with the CCR2216, CRS504, and CRS518 provides direct integration into the MikroTik 100G switching and routing ecosystem.

The module operates across four independent full-duplex channels with up to 25 Gbps per channel and an aggregate bandwidth of 100 Gbps, using wavelengths of 1296 nm, 1300 nm, 1305 nm, and 1309 nm via a Dual LC UPC connector. Built-in digital diagnostic functions provide real-time monitoring of optical power, transceiver supply voltage, temperature, laser bias current, and other critical parameters — with configurable alerts when user-defined operational thresholds are exceeded. Continuous monitoring enables proactive maintenance planning and anticipation of upgrade requirements before operational issues arise.

The XQ+31LC10D inserts directly into QSFP28 ports on compatible MikroTik devices and operates without additional configuration in RouterOS.
