wAP ax delivers dual-band WiFi 6 dual-chain 2×2 MIMO with integrated 6.9 dBi (2.4 GHz, 574 Mbps) and 7 dBi (5 GHz, 2400 Mbps) antennas for total AX3000 throughput. WiFi 6 brings up to 90% higher speed on 2.4 GHz and up to 40% on 5 GHz compared to previous generations, complemented by improved energy efficiency and advanced security with OWE, WPA3-PSK, WPA3-EAP, and management frame protection against brute-force and deauthentication attacks. In configurations with multiple wAP ax devices, fast seamless roaming automatically transitions clients to the strongest available signal. The dual-core ARM IPQ-5010 processor at 800 MHz with 256 MB RAM runs RouterOS v7 (License Level 4) with CAPsMAN support for centralized management of multiple devices in just a few clicks.

Two Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE-in 802.3af/at on one and DC jack 12–57V provide maximum flexibility for power and cabling. The IP54 enclosure with internal mounting — no visible external screws — and a rear opening for routing the Ethernet cable directly through the wall maintains a discreet appearance in any public or private environment. Maximum consumption of 9W and passive cooling ensure silent and efficient operation. The operating range from -40°C to +70°C guarantees reliability in extreme climatic conditions.
