MikroTik wAP ac LTE kit is a dual-band IP54 weatherproof access point with an integrated Category 4 LTE modem, designed for outdoor installation — on a wall, in the garden, on a porch, or in any challenging environment where wireless and mobile connectivity is needed on a tight budget. It is deployed in homes and small offices as an outdoor wireless access solution with integrated LTE internet backup through the EC200A-EU modem, or as a primary WiFi access point powered by LTE in locations without available fibre. The new revision features an improved LTE modem with the addition of the popular B28 band and a significant price reduction compared to the previous generation.

wAP ac LTE kit integrates a Category 4 LTE modem delivering speeds up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload on LTE FDD bands 1/3/5/7/8/20/28 and TDD 38/40/41, with automatic fallback to 3G Category R7 and 2G for continuous connectivity in any coverage area. Band 28 at 700 MHz ensures superior signal penetration in rural areas and weak signal zones. Dual-band WiFi covers 2.4 GHz with Wi-Fi 4 (300 Mbps) and 5 GHz with Wi-Fi 5 (867 Mbps) for reliable wireless connectivity for nearby users. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports allow using the LTE modem as an automatic backup for the wired ISP connection without complex configuration.

The IP54 weatherproof enclosure with internal wall mounting — no visible external screws — and an optional anti-vandal screw on the bottom section provide physical security in public and semi-public spaces. An opening in the back of the enclosure allows routing the Ethernet cable directly through the wall, maintaining a discreet appearance that blends into any environment. PoE-in 802.3af/at or DC jack 10–57V power input, maximum consumption of 12W, and passive cooling ensure simple installation and silent operation. The operating range from -30°C to +60°C covers weather conditions in most temperate zones.

Recommended for homes and small offices requiring outdoor wireless access with integrated LTE internet backup, locations without fibre access where LTE is the primary connection, and outdoor installations where a discreet appearance, IP54 physical protection, and accessible price are the main selection criteria.
